For many reasons, I draw. I think it’s important to note that not all graphic designers are illustrators, and not all illustrators are graphic designers, but it really does come in handy that I can draw things. It makes for a more custom, personalized service.
The blogger behind the blog, “I Want a Dumpster Baby” wrote about how she couldn’t have kids and would take any baby a mom didn’t want any time. Her obsession with randomly dancing to Hall & Oates became a well-known fact about her. Well, then she got pregnant with twins. So Patti Ford with the blog, “Insane in the Mom-Brain,” who is famous for her love of unicorns, decided we needed to make Hall & Oates unicorns as a baby shower gift. So here they are. Making all your dreams come true.
Patti Ford with the blog, “Insane in the Mom Brain,” had me do a few projects for her. I got creative one day and made Patti her own Unicorn Pony that I named the Patticorn. When she asked for a banner with it, I couldn’t help it. Her loves and obsessions are made obvious here…
But she also has a pet unicorn named Lord Burgess Atwood, and he’s real. He’s not imaginary at all. Because I drew him. You can find him on a lot of her products on Zazzle.
I had a lot of fun taking a picture of my middle child and playing with it on Photoshop adding my hand-drawn clouds and feathers.
One Christmas, I decided to send my favorite bloggers a Word Portrait based on some descriptive words I creatively compiled and positive reviews from their books.
I had a little fun with trademarks that don’t belong to me Fan Art for Space Balls.
Five Nights at Freddies is much nicer about using trademarked characters, which was awesome because my daughter loved giving these Valentine Cards I had printed at Vista Print.
And for the gutter sluts, I offer this amazing bathroom…
You can see some of the best of my illustrations on my coloring book’s page From Dust to Essence. I also drew the roses in the Next Button below…
